As we take the elevator through this retro department store of talent and personalities, the ride is smooth from the bottom  up.  At the foundation, the Bosco-Gee  rhythm section, firmly in the capable hands of bassist Terry “Hoot” Gibson and his counterpart Jimi Tulk on drums, lays down a solid groove that never falters and never stops. We honestly have to pay them extra to stop at the end of the night...

Next Floor - Guitars: You can taste the breath of fresh air as we step out of the elevator into an “Ego Free” Zone, offering up two guitarists who, oddly enough, pride themselves in being “notably unspectacular”, giving way to the idea of “working together” toward the overall sound, with Michael Gee’s “purist” traditional blues bag and Jerry Lew Patterson providing  substantially more pizazz, as well as impressive prowess in the art of Bottleneck Slide.  But in our quest for humility let’s not sell them short... Neither of them Suck.

As we soar upward, enter Bob Hunt & the Sax Magic Horns... But wait! You only mentioned one guy... OK, let me explain: In addition to the Tenor and “C” Sax, Bob’s main instrument nowadays is called a synthophone. With the appearance and same key features of an Alto Sax, it is an actual wind sensitive instrument which not only provides spectacular Bari, Tenor, Alto and Soprano Sax voices, but can produce the presence of an entire horn section with far superior and much more natural sounding results than you can produce with keyboards.

Although the frontman and vocal chores rest mainly in the hands of Michael Gee, a true Blues singer with all the gravel in the voice and soulful expression to prove it... Jerry Lew, Bosco, Bob and Jimi all contribute substantially to the overall vocal package.

In the Penthouse.... The icing on the cake comes in the form of the lovely and extremely Talented Martila Sanders.  Bringing some youth into the project, at 27, Martila will WOW your socks off her amazing voice.  Martila has become the “up and comer to watch” in the Southwest Michigan area,  marking  the beginning of a new era  and giving the Bosco-Gee Show an entirely new dimension.

The history behind these cats is long and impressive,  citing some of Central/Southern Michigan’s  most popular acts over the past decades. To include;  Smokestack Lightning,   Metro Johnny,   Groovestone,  The Greg Nagy Band,  The Fabulous Hitmen,  The Dixie Mafia,  Frog & The Beeftones  &  Rare Earth, just to name a few...
